Kid´s spots in Dubai
Johanna had a blissful week in Dubai, touring from playground to petting zoo, to indoor adventure parks....she really enjoyed it. And it also showed, that kids activities in Dubai do not always have to cost a fortune. In this blog post, I am sharing some of Johanna´s favorite spots which we discovered throughout our holiday here. Since I had visited Dubai before, we skipped all the "must-see sightseeing" activities and rather focused on residential neighborhoods with fun things-to-do for kids. Just good memories !
A very pleasant splish-splash water play area for kids at "Town Square" Community, external visitors pay around 5 Euro for 30 minutes of fun.
Here we are at the "Dubai Hills Mall". There is a shop called "Mumu Family" right at the food court on Level 1. If you spend around 10 Euro on items from their store, you immediately get 1h for free in the big soft play area. Honestly, the shopping part was even more fun for Johanna :)
Another fun thing to do at Town Square Park! Riding the carousel.
Feeding animals, bathing with dugs and tree climbing - all possible at X Park Jr. You need to book your time slot online in advance for your play session!
One of the most peaceful places is the Sustainable Village Community. Animals walk freely all over the place. There is a playground, a lake, and lots of free space to ride the bicycle or the kids scooter (if you have one with you on your holiday). And all totally free!
This photo was taken at the Kite Beach. There are plenty of eating-options. As well as a public beach.
Dubai Hills is one of the high-end communities in Dubai. And so look the play areas! Everything is just perfect and there is a big park for kids to run, too. This playground is called "Dragon Play Area", its on Google Maps, and totally free of charge.
Also located within the park of Dubai Hills, is this "bounce park". It is so much fun for both kids and adults alike! No cost.
